No longer have Outlook365 – so I don't have an MSWORD 2016 license, and I can't open my old (original installed) version of MSWord

Microsoft updated MSWord through Outlook 365, I don’t have Outlook 365 and more, and my product key doesn’t work on the 2016 version of MSOFFICE. How do I wrie and access documents in MSWord ?

Default printer being reset in Windows 10 even though the feture is off!

Windows 10 keeps managing one of my customers print functions.

The copier is the main printer but she prints the occasional label for UPS

When she uses the label maker it is set to the default.

As a result the next normal print job wastes a label unless she changes the default printer back to the copier every time  (THANKS MICROSOFT!!)

This is obviously an annoying issue so I turned off the management feature under “DEvices”  –> “Printers and Scanners” and unfortunately Windows ignores the off switch and keeps on managing the printers.

I found a registry fix that someone suggested and that also did not work.

Any suggestions on gaining control of the default print functions would be useful.  Thanks

Secure boot to disable the GRUB bootloader of Remix OS

Hello.

I am in need of help, because I have a secondary Operating System, Remix OS (jide.com) installed on my PC’s hard drive. I also have another Operating system I can access via USB flash drive boot, CloudReady. (neverware.com) While having Remix OS v3.0.205
on the PC, I decided to use CloudReady v52 on my flash drive. It was slow, and freezing a lot, which never happened in previous versions of CloudReady. I unplugged it and went to Remix OS. Later, I decided to switch to Windows, but an error popped up on Remix
OS’s GRUB bootloader, preventing me to go to Windows. I could only access Remix OS at the moment. This issue never happened before, since I started using Remix OS on February 2016:

I was pretty sure that CloudReady caused this problem, because the error occurred right after I took out CloudReady.

decided to use CloudReady again to access the Windows drive, and delete the GRUB files, so that the drive will ignore Remix OS and go straight to Windows. I could never find the Remix OS GRUB bootloader file, even after I was
sure I deleted all Remix OS components, even the .disk,  .isolinux, .efi, and the main RemixOS folder. Whatever I did, the GRUB still stood on startup. Now, my computer came with Windows 8, upgraded to 10, so there would be a secure boot option
in my BIOS. I decide to try that.

Questions:

1: Does secure boot ignore any other OSes installed on the PC, and on external flash drives, including the GRUB bootloader, and go straight to Windows?

2: If a Windows 8 PC was upgraded to v10, and you enable secure boot, will there be any problems with the PC (including booting up)? And can these problems be fixed when you redisable secure boot?

I need help ASAP! Any suggestion helps! Thanks.

Wired Xbox 360 Controller doesn't connect to computer?

This has been since I got my controller about 6 months ago, but have been getting worse recently.

Whenever I plug my controller into a usb port, the controller flashes, followed by a notification on windows telling me that the device is broken. After I unplug and plug the controller multiple times (sometimes it may take 3 tries and sometimes 20-30, or
not work at all) it starts working.

It used to help if I opened the Xbox 360 accessories status and try and plug my controller in, but recently this hasn’t been helping (Xbox accessories opens when I switch my computer on).

Also, I noticed that if i have my controller plugged in and then i switch on my computer, its about a 50/50 chance that the controller will work.

(I bought it from the official Microsoft amazon account, so it probably hasn’t been messed with prior to me getting it)

Cannot duplicate display to connected display port monitor

I have a Lenovo W530 with a second monitor connected via Display Port.

I can “project” and extend displays, however “Duplicate” does not work; it just extends the display.

Under Display settings, my laptop display is listed as 1|2 and the connected display port monitor as 3.

There is no option to “duplicate” display for 1 and 3. Any ideas?

I have the latest Lenovo drivers installed correctly:
